ScandiFlames Embla Freestanding Bioethanol Fireplace with Surtur 23" Insert
The ScandiFlames Embla bioethanol fireplace combines classic fireplace aesthetics with modern bioethanol technology. Measuring 120.3 × 102.3 × 29.3cm and weighing 36.8kg, the freestanding surround is crafted from solid polystone with a stone-effect finish and richly detailed ornamentation. Decorative columns, soft contours and floral motifs give the fireplace an elegant and balanced appearance, making it a natural focal point in the room.
At the centre of the surround is the Surtur 23" bioethanol fireplace insert, which burns bioethanol to create real, lively flames without smoke, soot or the need for a chimney. This makes Embla suitable for homes where a traditional fireplace installation is not possible, while still providing the visual warmth of live fire.
Key features of the ScandiFlames Embla
- Freestanding design: no chimney or flue required.
- Real flames: bioethanol fire produces natural flames without smoke or ash.
- Heat output up to 3 kW: provides pleasant supplementary warmth.
- Surtur 23" bioethanol insert: offers up to approximately 5.5 hours of burn time per refill.
- Polystone surround: decorative columns, floral detailing and classic stone-effect finish.
- Manual flame control: flame level adjusted using the included control tool.
Atmosphere and everyday warmth
The Embla bioethanol fireplace creates a calm and inviting atmosphere with live flames that can be enjoyed throughout the year. It is well suited to living rooms, dining areas and other shared spaces where visual warmth and ambience are desired without the maintenance associated with a traditional fireplace.
